This Privacy Policy explains how The Meet Point Coffee Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use the The Meet Point Coffee Loyalty mobile application (the "App"). We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Information we collect
- Account details — your name and email address, provided when you create an account and used to sign you in (authentication is handled by Google Firebase).
- Loyalty data — the coffee stamps you collect, rewards (free drinks) you earn and redeem, and your unique member QR code / identifier.
- Camera — staff use the device camera solely to scan a customer's member QR code in order to award stamps. Camera images are not stored.
- Apple Wallet — if you choose to add your loyalty card to Apple Wallet, we generate a pass containing your member identifier.
- Technical data — basic information needed to operate the service securely (e.g. authentication tokens).
How we use your information
- To create and manage your loyalty account.
- To operate the loyalty programme — record stamps, calculate and redeem rewards.
- To provide your member QR code and optional Apple Wallet pass.
- To keep the service secure and to respond to your support requests.
Our legal basis for processing is the performance of our contract with you (providing the loyalty programme) and our legitimate interest in running and securing the service.
How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising. We share data only with service providers who help us run the App:
- Google Firebase — authentication and secure data storage.
- Apple Wallet — only if you add your card to Wallet.
We may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
We keep your account and loyalty data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data unless we are required to keep it for legal reasons.
Your rights
Under UK/EU data protection law you have the right to access, correct, delete or request a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, or to delete your account, contact us at hello@meetpointcoffee.co.uk.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it was last revised.
